Yes. Shoulder Candy asks for your name, e-mail address, and other limited personal information when you sign up as a renter or member, and borrow or purchase products from Shoulder Candy.   Most of this information may be entered at your discretion.

To facilitate payment and fulfillment for membership and borrowing privileges and purchases (if offered), Shoulder Candy will request personal credit card or debit card information, or Paypal information.

How does Shoulder Candy use my personal information?

Our goal is to provide you with the most personalized, relevant, user-friendly Web experience possible. The primary use of all your personal information is to efficiently provide you with relevant information or services.

Currently Shoulder Candy does not support an account login/password feature, so there is no direct access to your personal information.  Should you wish to update your personal information, please send us an e-mail saying you wish to do so, from the e-mail address we have on file for you, and phone us from the phone line you have registered with us, and update over the phone.  Our phone number can be found by accessing the “Contact Us” link on the Site.

Does Shoulder Candy use "IP Addresses" and cookies?

IP Addresses: We do use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site. Your IP address is also used to gather broad demographic information such as geographic distribution of our members.

Shoulder Candy Cookies:

At this time, Shoulder Candy doesn’t support cookies or member login/password features, but may do so in the future.  However, please be advised that contrary to popular myth, cookies do not extract private or personal information from your computer’s memory, but rather, record only information you volunteer to us upon registering or visiting the site. Cookies are tiny files placed onto the hard drive of your computer when you register at our Web site that enable our server to recognize or "remember" who you are each time you return.
