Why should I borrow a designer handbag?

I love your handbags, and would like to rent a bag for a fundraising gala that I am going to. Do I have to rent by the month, or can I just rent a bag for one week?

Now, Shoulder Candy offers short term rentals, as well as long term rentals. You can borrow a bag for as short as one week, or keep it for a few months. It's up to you how long you keep it, and there are absolutely no strings attached!

How long does it take to receive my handbag? Will the shipping time use up part of my first week?

Shipping usually takes an average of 3 business days, depending on your location in Canada. Your first week's billing technically begins the moment you order your bag from the web site, however, your second week won't be billed until 10 days after your order is processed. Then, every week thereafter will be a normal 7-day billing cycle until you wish to return your handbag.

Do you still have a "membership", and do I have to become a member to rent bags?

No, Shoulder Candy does not require you to purchase a membership to borrow handbags anymore. This means that there are no monthly membership fees, no trade fees, no shipping fees, and instead you rent bags week to week for one flat rental fee billed weekly. Also, you can borrow whenever you'd like, and for as long as you'd like, with no obligation to continue borrowing other bags.

What if I accidentally damage the bag? Is there insurance?

There is an optional $5 weekly insurance that covers any wear and tear that may take place while the handbag is in your possession. This insurance does not cover theft or loss. We highly recommend this insurance for your peace of mind.

Can I borrow two bags at a time?

Yes! Now Shoulder Candy allows up to two rentals at a time. If you can't decide between two handbags, borrow them both!
